Volunteer

Volunteers make a difference.  Your time and talents are appreciated and help make this community a better place.  It can be difficult work but is always rewarding and life changing.  

All volunteer positions are part-time, any hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 9 to 1 at The Thrift Store on Saturdays.  The key positions are best filled by 4 or 8 hours a week but many opportunities are available for other schedules as well.  

Below you will find a list of volunteer opportunities that are typically available. If you find one of interest, complete the application form below.

Volunteer Opportunities Available

  • Food Bank

    Assemble food boxes, hand out food boxes, carry and sort, process paperwork, and much more.

  • The Thrift Store

    Currently volunteers are needed to process donations in a soon-to-be-ready dedicated processing room. Volunteers to help organize and set up the new processing room are also needed. These are sometimes messy jobs. Your patience with the work is appreciated.

  • Swap Meet Information and Sales Table

    At times The Thrift Store hosts a table at the Our Lady of Snow Swap Meet on Saturdays. Volunteers to set up the table, hand out flyers, sell items, and return items back into storage are needed.

  • Fundraisers
  • Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers

    Deliver nutritious meals to local residents. Typically this is done one day a week but other options are available. To find out more details contact the Center Manager at 928-536-2222.

  • Food Preparation

    Prepare food for various food services. Supervision and training provided.

  • Special Events Community Outreach
  • Serve Food at Mid-day Meals

    Food is served mid-day 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. People to carry plates to the tables to serve clients. Training and supervision is provided.
